Franco sarto

This boots claims ots wide calf but its for a skinny person,yhe zipper get stuck abiut three times before it gets to the top. Also this boots is on franco site as final sale rnk returns now i understand why.

I wanted to love them

These look great but I couldn't see myself wearing them more than a few minutes b/c they are very stiff in the foot/toe area. Taking steps, they do not bend/give at the toe. Also, b/c they are so tall, when walking up steps, they poke the back of your knee/lower thigh. Other reviewers commented on the zipper. It is true that it's extremely difficult to unzip all the way, but I found I didn't need to fully unzip.

Beautiful but lining is tight

I bought these in black last year and absolutely love them. I've forever struggled to find wide leg boots and these were perfect. I love the taller height. When I saw they now came in a dark brown I jumped on them. However, the lining in these are different from the original - it's thicker and makes for a more snug fit in the foot area. I assume the leather will soften with wear, but unfortunately I don't think there's a chance the lining will stretch as well, so I had to send these back.

received with broken zipper

beautiful boot. I have the black pair, as well. Unfortunately, the brown pair arrived with a broken zipper. Will attempt to exchange for a new pair.

Bad zipper

The zipper is so tough that you can’t zip them up. It gets stuck on the back of the ankle and won’t budge. Overall the boot is nice but what’s the point if you have to struggle to zip them up. I feel like this is in general a problem for Franco Sarto as I have a pair of booties that have a tough zipper as well
