Boots are too tall, and not comfortable

Boot is too high for my legs. It looks good when standing and may be fine for taller women, but uncomfortable when sitting or bending legs. I’m 5’3, but my legs are longer than others that are my height (I have a short torso). I have not ever had this issue before and have a lot of boots, and even have this brand.

Boots looks beautiful. I ordered twice and returned both. Both pair have one shoe great, but the other one with wrinkles as if it was worn before. No one in the reviews mentioned socks stained by the lining of shoes?
