Very gorgeous and stylish boots!
The Franco Jaxon Mid Calf Boot in black leather by Franco Sarto really are gorgeous boots. I love everything about them…except wearing them. It’s not a lack of quality or an issue with the footwear or brand, per se, these are just the type of boots I cannot walk in! I’ve practiced for years now, and any type of heal just isn’t going to work for me. The boots are high quality and very trendy. They seem like they’d keep snow, water and cold old in the winter too. Nice fit
My legs are long but chunky, ankle and calf are very wide so it's extremely difficult to find the right fit on tall boots as they always have a wider end and ruins the appearance at end of boot. it's a loose end and looks funny, especially if I wear above knee skirts. I ordered the Jaxon boot and because is not that tall, it rest beautifully on the calf area and elongates the legs. Fits fully but not tight, I open the side zipper (zipper doesn't open fully) and it gives a little more room. I ended ordering on every color and material for a good price. Also, these boots are from leather material and the craftsmanship is superb. Boots are a must have on any closet and it will last long. I have to say that the soft blue is adorable, and the leather is even softer than the black and ivory. The suede one is very stylish, matte color is elegant and just make sure to add extra water protection.
Heel is 3.5 inches high vs 2.25 as described
Nice boot except not as described. Heel height is an important factor in making a shoe purchase and would expect it to be accurate.

I bought these boots a month ago and the website says heel height 2.25 but the heel height is definitely not 2.25 feels more like 3 inches or higher.

Uncomfortable fit
Very uncomfortable fit.

I had high hopes for these boots; however, I found them to be uncomfortable. I typically wear a size 9 but often opt for a half size larger in styles such as this. The leather is exceptionally nice and soft. Although I do not have a wide foot, these boots still felt somewhat tight, and I experienced slipping of my heel while walking. If I were to select a larger size, they would likely be too loose. Consequently, I have decided not to keep them due to the heel slipping and their narrow fit. Furthermore, the height of the heel may result in discomfort if I stand for an extended period, given the narrowness. Overall, I considered them to be uncomfortable, although they possessed a beautiful aesthetic.
Run Don’t Walk
If you have wide feet, I would say size up a half size as they run narrow. Other than that I constantly receive compliments whenever I wear these. They are very comfortable to wear for an extended period of time and well made! Let’s not forget the cushion inside of the shoe! I would have no issues purchasing Franco Sarto again!
