Gorgeous but…

The structure, color and buttery texture of this coat are spot on. However, the sizing is way off; like ridiculously off. I am 5’9, 195-200 lbs dress size 12 or 14 depending on the style, I usually buy L or XL. I ordered this coat in the XXL because I wanted to be able to wear a sweater or layered tops under it comfortably. Before I even attempted to try it on I thought the shoulders looked “small” so I checked the tags and inside label for sizing, which was marked XXL. …NO WAY, absolutely no way was this a double xl, it had to be a medium if not a small. Couldn’t even get my arm in it with a tshirt on. I have returned it, the return process was easier than some of the reviews have stated, I took it back to Macys and was refunded within 5 days. Buyers BEWARE the sizing (like many other reviews) is majorly off. SIZE UP at least 2 sizes!!!! Shame, because it is a gorgeous coat.

Missed the mark trench coat

The leather is so soft and the color is beautiful. The collar is very large and has a weird cut. It was cut like an old movie style without the style. After that I couldn’t get past the rest of the coat. I returned it 2 days later.
