Good looks, not so good function

In my quest to cut my tie to my phone, I replaced my Apple Watch with this "Casioak" but after wearing it for a day, I realized that it looked too nice as an EDC watch. Honestly, the watch was not really good for much other than looks. It is hard to see what time it is because this particular model doesn't have enough contrast to separate the hands from the face of the watch. The display is so tiny that you need a magnifying glass to see the time, especially when the hands are blocking the window. Forget about pressing the buttons to access the modes and adjust anything if you have strong, muscular, man fingers like I do. I decided not to return it since the watch does look very nice and my girlfriend loves how it looks. For casual dinners and even semi-formal events, this watch will pair nicely with a sports jacket. If you need an EDC watch, get the 5610-1 (5610-U in other parts of the world). For a work watch, the GD350-8 is the best choice especially because of the button activation of the timer.
