The Garmin S-70 watch is a great piece of technology for golf and fitness tracking. Unfortunately the Garmin S-70 watch does not stand alone. It requires the Garmin app to communicate with in regards to accurately tracking shots, keeping score, and providing this information back to you in a useable manner. Sadly the Garmin app does not live up to expectations. I have found the app to contain bugs that should have been fixed when the watch was released in 2023. There is no manual or online help provided by Garmin. Learning how to operate the watch requires you watch numerous paid product reviews on U-tube to learn how the watch functions. At no time do these paid reviewers discuss the limitations of the Garmin app. Hopefully some software updates for the Garmin app are in the works because at best, I have a wrist held GPS that shows me an illustration of the hole with various yardages. Not what I bargained for when I bought the watch.

I've not want to watch my whole life and I got this primarily for golf but I wear it all the time! Bought this watch a month ago, and never once did I have buyer's remorse. This is an awesome watch with awesome features!

I had the S62 for the last 5 years and decided to upgrade and I am not disappointed. The new features and screen graphics have made my watch an essential when on the course.

I was hesitant to buy this watch. I had an apple watch and looking for something more golf focused. Well this watch has surpassed all my expectations. Pulse ox, sleep monitor and seamless golf intergration. You lose a few things like apple pay but the wins far outweigh the loses.

I like the wach. It is probably overkilled for what I need but I got it mainly for golf and tracking my fitness. However, coming from the apple watch, it is hard to be them when it comes to tracking fitness. It does disconnect a lot from my phone. Never had issues with my apple watch with that. I keep getting a disconnected/connected message on my screen. I dont like how I can't just do a strength workout without picking a specific one from the list garming provides. Just the same way you do a "free" run. I just want to look at my heart rate and total time of workout. I'd like to be able to select workout -> upper body and go. Then send that data to my health app to keep track. The watch has a lot to offer and I can't wait to use the golf settings.

Very good, coulld be better
I bought this to replace my S-62, which died. Generally it is better, the display is bright and easy to see. The display settings are a bit of work to get right so the display is on when you need it without a lot of finnicking, but I got it set up right now. I found the standard watch faces are pretty garish, so I need to download something a bit more conventional.. I tried the green slope function, but it doesn't work on my courses, so I will cancel my subscription.
