LOVE My Watch!
Absolutely Great Watch.... Great all around, especially Dive! Super for every day use also... smart watch for incoming messages, sleep tracker, has training functions - but my main use is for diving. I have gotten so many compliments on it. It's Really Just a Great Find!

Great dive watch!
I am an active person who also loves to scuba dive whenever I can, which is why I felt this watch would be perfect for me. I did a weeklong diving vacation (2-3 dives a day for 7 days) and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. I am able to go into deep water and even there it gave me all the stats I needed to stay safe! I loved seeing the charts and stats after each dive as well. It was great! Also worth noting, I didn’t have to recharge it that whole week! As for the daily use, I find it a little clunky. But honestly I almost prefer that as I’m tired of having technology be too accesible. However, it seems to disconnect from the phone too much and syncing takes a lot of time. I had the weather on my watch face and can’t get that to work at all anymore. I’ve really appreciated being able to track my sleep. However, I read for some time before bed and it tracks that as sleep. Until recently I’ve been able to edit sleep times and I would appreciate if that was made possible again in the future! Overall, if you want a dive watch, this is a great one to get!

From Apple to Garmin
I haven’t had the watch very long but switched from Apple, and I’m so glad I did! The battery life is phenomenal (a big selling point for me). There’s so much customization still to make it personal to me. I’m on a search and recovery dive team for work and wanted something to track dives but that is useful for everyday wear. This is still user friendly under water, even with low visibility. 100% recommend!

Easy to use
As a newly certed scientific diver I love my garmin descent for it's easy to read display and compact design. I upload each dive using the app and love how simple it is to keep track my stats.

Excellent Watch
The G1 has so far meet all expectations. Very easy to read display both above and below the water. As a dive watch it was very easy to setup and use. We used it for a few dives in Cozumel so far and it worked very well. Love the convenience of having a watch/dive watch all in one.

GREAT DIVE WATCH
Brought this over 6 months ago and love it. GPS dive in and out rocks. Just remember to activate it before jumping in.

Works perfectly.
I did five dives over the Christmas holiday, and it worked flawlessly for all of them. I hesitated to buy this watch after being burned several years by a much more expensive air integrated watch that just stopped logging dives and ate my logbook. SO I was overjoyed that the G1 not only worked automatically, but also gave me the dive in stunning detail. It was way to cloudy the whole time so I didn't get to see the Solar feature charging, but I couldn't be happier. (Wish I had air integration, but I was just hoping to have the holiday dives logged! If you are looking for an entry level (no air integration) capable dive watch, check this one out! I don't think you will be disappointed.
