Fantastic Product

I’m active law enforcement and use this every single day that I work. It helps me orient myself and keep track of where I am at all times. The device is very accurate and hasn’t failed me a single time. I would recommend this to everyone even those who aren’t in law enforcement.

Ok if you never had one

Doesn't have avoid toll road option. My 55 did. does remember routes that I prefer.

Directions inaccurate

I bought this unit because my previous nuvi screen wasn't readable. I had a rough time locating my doctor's appointment using the Drive 53 & Traffic gps. I previously updated the map and found the directions were inaccurate. Very disappointing.

The program has changed so much I have trouble using it. The 3 prior GPS were more, in my opinion, user friendly units

A must have gadget when traveling

I bought this unit to replace the one that got stolen in California, just two months back. I got to have a GPS when driving, vice using a smart phone; Garmin makes excellent GPS

Garmin Drive Replacement - Nice Upgrade

Purchased a few weeks ago to replace a 10 year + garmin. The 53 and Traffic unit is the same size Garmin as my previous unit, but the screen brightness is not quite as good. During the day to avoid the sun glare, I place on night screen and that helps. It is a little different to search for address, but after a couple tries it works fine.
