Great Features

Takes some getting used to putting it on my arm by myself but that is only slight negative. Easily connected to my Garmin Connect App. Easy to operate. Like option of single read or average of three. Like options for printing reports for my doctor.

Accurate BPM within Garmin Universe

I lead a healthy lifestyle and rely on biometrics to keep me honest (along with a consultation with an MD every year or so). After decades of boring biometrics, I got a blood pressure reading that was a significant outlier to my baseline so I decided to get the Garmin BPM to help me spot meaningful trends. It is an extremely comfortable and intuitive device to use. You can use a single reading or use the 3x setting, which takes three readings spaced one-minute apart to give you an average of the three. The readings automatically appear on my Fenix 7 and in the Garmin Connect app on my phone. One of the best investments in my health I've made recently.

Not accurate

I have had my Garmin BP for a month. It is not remotely close to being accurate. My BP normally is 118/74 (or close). My readings on this BP are 190/ 100. I would need to go to the ED with that number. I did a double check with my older monitor and the reading was much lower. I am going to need to return this unit. I have several other Garmin devices that I really like, so this was a dissapointment.

Easy setup

Got it for 2 people. A little complicated getting the second person setup. But a bit of garmin research determined that I needed to add the second person by invitation. Easy after that

It works

Been having the yearly conversation with my doctor about high blood pressure. I’m low 40s and he kept talking about blood pressure meds. Bought this a few months back and used the app to start logging BP. Saw my DR yesterday and put the issue to bed. Officially got white coats in my file and no more BP med talk. This unit was very close to the one they had in readings.

Works great. The Connect App is handy for recording data, which makes it easy to share the info with my doctor, who wants me to watch and report my BP during visits.
