Don't buy it

The small screen is a nightmare. Its terrible for touch control which causes frustration. On top of that they think you would want to read text messages 1 word at a time on it! The app is ok but the graphs have no scaling ability so I guess you have to export it to something else. Battery life is like 3 days at best. Wow...they could have given a decent screen size and had a larger battery in one shot....too bad. The metrics are weird and I'm not sure i trust all of them. Its a pain to see your heart rate while your running, unless you pin the heart rate function, but then forget about watching your timing. Besides it will probably start the timing no matter what is showing. And then theres the screen...I can't display seconds on the screen unless i'm doing a timing. I DO NOT LIKE THIS THING

very nice but the charger stopped working

its cute, compact and blends in well. Its like a small version of an apple watch, bad part the charger stopped working for no reason. lucky i had two of these so now i use that charger. other than that if you don't like the apple watch this is nice. just have to do better with the quality of the charger because if i didn't have another i wouldn't be able to use it.

Actually got this as part of a University study on Healthy Minds. I thought I was getting more exercise than it records. Steps are good, Heart rate is helpful. Not showing as much effect when I play water volleyball. I am one of the more active people of the group and I play 2 to 4 hours each weekend day. It gives me about 5000 steps when doing this.

Disappointed

I wore my VivoSmart4 daily for 4 years and then it stopped charging. I purchased a refurbished VivoSmart4 because I loved the one I had. Just 3 weeks after receiving it, I wore it in the pool and it stopped working. Upon inspection, there was moisture in the sensor. I'm presently waiting for a warranty replacement. I'm hoping it will be as reliable as my initial Vivosmart4 and not like the refurbished one. I'll update this review, if possible, once I receive it.
