Very good watch

This Venu 3 was my birthday present this year from my wife as I wanted a Garmin with more health related features than my old Garmin. I’m happy with it so far. Only thing missing is solar charging ability.

I love my new Garmin Venu 3

I love my new Garmin, but the battery lasts half as long as my Vivo Active 4 and the speaker for calls is very bad.

If you're noticing that your new Venu 3's battery is draining faster than expected, this may be caused by a variety of factors. In particular, if you have the display set to Always On, or if you have watch faces or apps downloaded from Connect IQ, this will have a significant impact on the battery life. In addition, Pulse Ox use, GPS use and outdated software can quickly reduce the battery. Pluses and minuses

I moved to the Venu 3 from a Venu 2 and found that the core features showed modest improvements: very helpful fitness information augmented by music, phone notifications, wallet, etc. Battery life appears to be better and untested thus far are answering the phone and using the phone's Google Assistant. The downsides are a bit more cumbersome navigation, including the third button, and an unresolved challenge where the watch loses its bluetooth connection with its Pixel phone each night and has to be reinstalled. Every morning. At some point I will muster the time to track down a solution.

Great upgrade from Venu 2

Happy to have upgraded from Venu 2 last month. Venu 3 is better technically, with all the old features enhanced and a more intuitive UI. Heart rate monitor-based functions all work better, plus new diagnostics offer better sleep insight. If you want more running- or golf-focused tools pick a different purpose-built Garmin. For multipurpose health monitoring and everyday functionality though, pick Venu 3. It’s a good tool. Integrates well with Apple iPhone too.
