Pretty but too difficult for on and off

I loved the look of these earrings. Unfortunately the safety clasp was a problem. First trying to get them on was difficult- took forever to get them started through the ear hole. Getting them off was brutal. Thought I was going to have to get them cut off. The button to unhook the clasp is small and hard to unlock and when I finally managed my ear was sore and red. The safety clasp design is overkil!
