Between a rock and a hard place
I got these boots in August '21 for storm work. They are some comfortable boots that I can actually get my feet into. I've been sized for boots many times and told that EE or EEE should work. Unless it's a lace-up, I can't even get my foot into other boots. It's more than just the length and width of a foot that matters, right? Georgia Boots nailed it for guys like me with weird feet. Waterproofing was an upgrade for me, but that may be the source of the problem. Before I even finished the storm work (1.5 months) one of the liners was suctioned to my foot when removing the boot. The whole liner was coming out. On the next job, both liners came loose and I was rolling on the floor till exhaustion just trying to get my damned feet out of the boots. I was about to just cut them off. I tried an old trick to put a bag over socks for really tight/fitted rubber boots. That worked for getting the boots off, but waterproofing is a waste because my feet can't breathe. My feet stayed wet in those bags. I'll try my luck with customer service because I have not found any other boot that fits me as comfortably as these. They gave me a discount code for another pair of boots and offered to RMA the ones I've got. I'm reluctant to buy a different pair of boots from here because of my experience with these boots. I really hope they fixed their QC or design so that it doesn't happen again. Or, I'll just be getting them to replace these boots every few months. If this fails, I'm going to get a Cajun Injector and just fill the gap around the liner with RTV silicone. Maybe that will keep them from coming out. Side note: As a search and rescue guy, I also have some tactical lace-up boots with side zippers (not Georgia Boots). I've got plenty negative to say about how they don't fit my feet, but for years now, they have been crawling through many rubble piles and dragged across concrete walls while doing ropes training. The leather exterior on the composite toe is holding up much better than the leather toe of these Georgia boots. It's almost like these boots were not meant to last. I would not recommend these boots unless you have an odd foot shape like me. Then you should just expect to replace them often... hopefully on the manufacturer's dime.

Worn out quickly
After owning approximately 15 pairs of Georgia wellington boots, I gave these carbo-tec boots a try. The leather on the toes are worn through; the seam on the side is coming apart; and the bottoms started coming apart almost immediately. Although comfortable, the durability isn’t there.

Best boots
Probably the best boots I’ve owned I used to buy the 8” and 11” or something similar for lace ups religiously my first square tow from Georgia and I doubt I’ll buy anything else

Didn't hold up as i had hoped fore
I bought these boots about 4/5 months ago, they did take a week to break in and are extremely comfortable but the soles have worn out very quickly and the inner lining wants to pull out of the boots when you take them off after about 6 weeks of use. I feel i can only get about another few weeks and I will have to buy a new pair of boots, and unfortunately not this model.
