The Georgia Boot Comfort Core Low Heel Logger Waterproof Work Boot is all about optimal comfort and rugged durability. Comfort is a big part of what this logger boot offers. The men's boot has the patented CC7 Comfort Core insole with a three-layer comfort system. The first layer of polyurethane cushions and absorbs shock. The second layer of polyurethane supports your arch and heel. Finally, the third layer is memory foam for comfort that customizes to your foot. This comfortable work boot also features a heel-stabilizing Counter Lock, a durable double-ribbed tempered steel shank for arch support, and a high-performance mesh lining for air circulation. Made from the best materials, this footwear has an oil-resistant and slip-resistant rubber Vibram sole. Goodyear welt construction gives this full-grain leather boot durability that can hold up to years of tough wear. It features milled nickel hardware. The premium nylon laces are guaranteed for life.

Insoles

Missing insoles

Georgia boots stopped making the insoles specifically for these boots. It requires a insole with a drop in heel that goes into the sole. I wouldn't recommend buying these unless your shoe repair guy can fix the manufactured hole in the bottom of the sole.

Hopeful they will stop hurting me

I really WANT to like these boots. They are good looking, soft cushioned insoled, have a solid lacing system, meet my needs of a 8” leather, vibrams sole logger with medium heel height. However the pull on loop on the back of the boots kind of sucks, it doesnt really help me put them on. However that would be a very small issue and still rate 5 stars if it wasnt for the extreme amount of skin the counter lock heels keep tearing off my heels. I have loosened the laces, tightened the laces, changed socks, packed the boots with hard objects to stretch out and relax the heel and so far none of it works. Its been about 3 weeks now and I have been off and on between this pair and my old Georgias that are low heel loggers that are broken in and dont have this dang counter heel lock because I need to constantly heal my heels from the damage caused by these boots. So far, despite all the pros, the cons make them unserviceable at this time. If I cant wear them daily, I cant count on them and wont recommend them. However Im still holding out hope they will stop hurting me eventually.

Hard to break in!

These boots have been extremely hard to break in. I have applied mink oil and worn them for about two weeks and they are just starting to soften up. I am not sold on the counter lock heel. Time will tell.

Fell apart

They don't make these like they used to.I had these for 3 months and they already fell apart. I'm not sure if this was a bad batch but I'm very disappointed. Wish these were better.
