Great but catches hair

I love the platinums but the white especially, catches strands of my hair and pulls them out when I am straightening the back. Also, my platinums stop working after two years. They start beeping and stop warming up. It is so frustrating because they are so expensive. It is still my favorite straighter.

Too wide for shorter hair

I spent a fortune for this flat iron and I'm very disappointed. It straigthen, but my hair appears much coarser than even with a much less expensive one.

Not as good as my 25 yr old GHD

Catches on my fine hair. On/off noise is annoying. The cord is also not as nice as my 25 yr old one. Heats up fast and smooths hair well.
