ideal for chunky smoothies

These are sized _perfectly_, with the perfect thickness and pliability for chunky smoothies, and nicely rounded edges for a neuntral, non-distracting feel in the mouth (no hard corner edges). GIR lived up to its name with this one, for sure!

Love these!

Love these straws. They’re nice on the teeth, dishwash well and are fun colors! Seem like they will be durable.

These are great!

I bought a few of these earlier this year and have gotten a surprising amount of use out of them. They're great for milkshakes, smoothies, and blender drinks. I hope there will be more color options in the future, but otherwise these are pretty much perfect.

Perfect for smoothies

We’ve made smoothies at home for our kids for years but didn’t have a good straw to drink them with until now. Metal straws worked ok, but my older kiddo worried about her braces. Now everyone’s happy! And having the variety of colors helps everyone keep track of their own smoothies. And helps spot when someone has gone rogue and swiped someone else’s smoothie.

Perfect for [home made] bubble tea

I bought this in late 2019 because I practically lived at my local bubble tea place and figured I should try to be a little better about my plastic waste. But even before COVID hit I had basically stopped going because now I can make the milk tea and boba at home and get instant gratification (no more having to drive out! no more fighting for parking spaces!) at MUCH less cost. Turning to homemade bubble tea was also a good thing because as delightfully colorful and environmentally friendly as these straws are, they absolutely fail at stabbing through the plastic top covering. If you intend to buy this and still frequent your local bubble tea shop, remember to bring your own sharp utensil or else you'll be forced to grab one of their plastic straws after all.

This Boba Sized Straw Comes Out on TOP!

These are almost perfect! Great quality product in true GIR fashion – functional, sturdy (doesn’t flop over) and the angle end is a nice touch. I've tried other straws that are "boba-sized" but this one fits the bill better than the others. It’s a bit thicker than I would like and wish it came with a bigger tool or brush to make cleaning extra easy. Luckily ordered two packs so no one fights over them (yet)!

My Day to Day, Hour to Hour Straw

I drink a lot of water --- I have a quart jar on every surface of my living spaces. And, I have a GIR Smoothie straw in it. I love it because it is easy to wash, and, I don't have to work hard to get a good gulp of water. Thank you for designing this format, GIR!
