Ok, so as another reviewer noted, it does arrive wrinkled. So? What do you expect with 100% cotton voile?! Just buy a hand-held steamer (I use mine alllll the time! Way faster than an iron and there’s no risk of ruining a delicate fabric…) and run it over it. Or pop it in the dryer on low with a few damp light-colored washcloths or dish towels and that’ll get a lot of the wrinkles out. Anyway, the bedskirt fits my King bed perfectly. My mattress is a a regular thickness, so if your mattress is super thick, making your bed really high, the bed skirt is not going to come as close to the floor as you might expect. Mine has about a 2 inch clearance, so it’s perfect for me. The cotton voile outer layer is gathered, with a solid white polyester lining (unattached) under it so that it’s not completely see-through and will hide your boxspring, if you have one. IMHO, it’s feminine without being too frilly. Overall, it’s really pretty for a shabby-chic casual look.
