Birthday Gift Not Delivered

I only wish I could tell you how fabulous the diamond earrings are, but unfortunately they were never delivered. The Macy’s Support Team representative who resides in the Philippines is going to contact me tomorrow so I can file a claim for a refund. My fingers are crossed that it’s a simple process.

I recently purchased a pair of earring studs from Macy’s as a surprise for my wife, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The backing of the earrings did not fit the post at all, and when I requested an exchange, I was told it wasn’t possible because I had removed the tag/label — the same tag I had to remove in order for my wife to even try them on. What made the situation worse was that I was repeatedly encouraged to sign up for Macy’s WorryNoMore® Jewelry & Watch Protection program or asked whether I had a Macy’s card (my wife does). Instead of helping resolve a simple product-quality issue, the focus felt more like selling me additional services. I expected better support, especially for a gift meant to make someone happy. This experience left me disappointed.
