Not macys quality

Ordered for a Christmas gift , received in 2 boxes, had to assemble, what a drag, after a month they finally put it together the heater did not fit snug like the photo. Never again will I buy furniture from macys. Second time i purchased from macys and the quality is not good. Very sad to say

Nice TV stand - Vendor has deceptive practices

The TV stand is nice, but must be gentle when assembling or moving or else the finish will crumble off. The fireplace is slightly smaller than the dimensions described on the website, therefore there is a 0.25 inch gap between the top of the fireplace and the underside of the top of the TV stand. The vendor for this would not let me send this fireplace back for the one with the correct dimensions because they said they "revamped" and didn't have one that matched the dimensions. The vendor was very difficult to work considering their product description of the fireplace was deceptive. The 0.25 inch gap, while small, is very noticeable and we ended up cutting a piece from the extra shelf (that goes in the middle when not placing the fireplace) to glue on the underside of the top of the TV stand. Being MDF board, the black finish came off the edge when cutting so we colored it in with a black sharpie. Not something we should have to deal with considering the price, all because the seller in a nutshell said tough cookies! Otherwise, the fireplace is nice however the cord is 6ft long. Being within the TV stand, the cord is too short to reach the outlet in a "clean fashion" and it is pulled tight running up the wall at an angle. This means we cannot cover it with a cord "hider". The TV stand is nice however I do not recommend buying this with the fireplace considering the short cord and the false dimensions. I do not recommend this vendor either (Gymax)!

Bad experience.

I have a terrible experience trying to return this item. I went back-and-forth for 3 days before somebody puts in the A return sticker in my email.
