Bad spout on kettle and worst customer service

This was a Christmas gift from 2022. The spout fell off in Nov 2023 and the company would not replace the tea kettle as they held fast on the 1 year product warranty. This tea kettle was only used maybe 10 times as it was provided for our tea drinking daughter in-law that lived out of town. I would not recommend any Hamilton Beach product. We produced the original purchase receipt and a photo of the broken kettle, the spout is only glued on. I am so disappointed that after 5 communications they refused to stand by their product. They would rather the heating element be thrown out than used. What a waste.

Should have purchased sooner

Quick to boil, like the button release for the top, wide mouth so it’s easy to clean and wipe out, lightweight.

Leaks after 10 months

Less than a year after purchase, leaking from the bottom.

very loud

I purchased this after reading a ton of reviews and my biggest complaint is that it’s very loud while heating to a boil. I have a few friends that have an electric kettle and not of them are loud and for that reason I returned mine.

Works Very well. I like the multiple temperature settings. Easy to open lid.
