I love the ease of use and quality of the ice cream but it really could use a lid to go with it.

Sweet treats
I used it at home when I had my grandson visit me. Planning is the biggest challenge for me as you need to prepare the mix ahead of time and chill overnight. Churning was easy ( I was expecting paddle to turn but it didn't so I guess that was fine). It was louder than I expected as well. My grandson thought it was real yummy so it all worked out. We added choc chips and crushed candy canes. I will need to experiment with other combos.

Compact. Delicious. Easy to use.
I really like that the ice cream maker is not big. We do not have a large kitchen area and this affords us space that we would not have with other brands that tout the same product. Also, the quality of ice cream made by this model is excellent and delicious. You can literally follow the easy, simple ingredients and instructions for homemade ice cream provided in the booklet or online and it comes out great.

Family Ice cream activity
Setup was very easy since there are only 4 pieces. Operation was also easy to understand. It is important to follow the direction of freezer time as I tried to cut some time off and consistency wasn't right. I re-did it and the second try was a lot better. There are two things that I didn't like, It is very loud during mixing. The second is other than the easy vanilla ice cream thought it was a lot off prep work. All and all it was a fun activity with the family and a nice treat at the end.

Fast and easy to clean but loud
TL;DR: Good news: it works very quickly, is easy to use clean, the manual has 6 recipes Things to keep in mind: it is very loud (especially when it finishes mixing), don't use metal to scrape the ice cream off the bowl So far we have made the "Peaches and Cream Ice Cream" twice. The first time we had stored the bowl in our chest freezer and the liquid froze so fast (~5-10 minutes instead of the expected 20-40 minutes) and we thought something was wrong. The outer layer had frozen (and made the maker think it was finished) but the inside wasn't frozen yet. In hindsight, I think we should have chopped the peaches finer or waited to add them until after the cream had thickened. When were getting the (very) frozen ice cream off the sides, we were using a metal spoon (I didn't see any warnings against this in the manual) but the finish inside is a little damaged now. So I would recommend using a spatula, which has worked great since because the ice cream is more of a soft serve consistency rather than a really thick ice cream. The second time we pre-froze the bowl in our regular freezer and made a half batch. The mixture froze better and the ice cream was finished in about 10 minutes (compared to the expected 20-40 minutes for a full batch). A heads up for new users: the machine is quite loud. Especially when the ice cream has frozen enough and is done, causing the machine to just move back and forth. It honestly made me think the machine was broken because I wasn't expecting it to be so loud. Both times we have used it, everything was really easy to clean. The manual is really clear about what can and can't be washed and how to do so. About the manual: - it has 6 recipes: 2 different vanilla ones, chocolate, strawberry sorbet, peaches and cream, and a cappuccino gelato - there is a brief troubleshooting section and a "Tips for Best Results" section that are helpful - after our experience in the chest freezer, I wish it included warnings about if it was possible to get the bowl too cold or not Final note: the sticker on the front of mine is sticking out a little bit but it's not affecting the usability of the machine so I didn't use that to affect my rating.

My kids loved making ice cream!
I just received my ice cream maker, and it is absolutely a game changer! We can make fresh, frozen ice cream in just 20 minutes. It's also lightweight with only a few pieces, making it easy to store. We especially love the bowl and how quickly it freezes. I keep it in my freezer just in case because, once again, it’s so quick and easy to make ice cream with this machine!

We love this machine.
I am pleasantly surprised by this machine. It’s not that I didn’t think it wouldn’t work. It’s just it’s way easier to use than I thought it would be. Plus it’s super easy to clean. It gives you a recipe book as well so now you know exactly what is going into your ice cream. My kids and I have already made several different ice creams and it’s the middle of winter.

Cool machine but didn’t get it right the 1st try
This is a really cool and fun little machine. I wanted to love it - and may still in time! - but our first attempt ended up basically flavored whipped cream! The machine itself is very very simple and straightforward to use. It’s a good size, making several servings of ice cream without taking up too much room in your cupboard or on the counter when you’re using it, but I think it must just taking some experimenting to get the recipe dialed in. We tried the recipe for vanilla ice cream in the manual and it seriously came out literally 100% like the texture of whipped cream. Just a little bit shy of whipped butter honestly! To the point that it didn’t melt when stored in the fridge. I think it was over-mixed but I’m really not sure because we kept checking it and it didn’t seem the right consistency any earlier. In any case it’s a fun machine and if we could get the recipe right I bet it would make great ice cream.
