Customer support from Hamilton Beach

I received this as a gift. I used it three times and a spring fell out of the handle. Hamilton Beach will replace it but I would have to pay shipping. I find this unacceptable when the product was less than two months old. I will have them replace it. My next one will have a different manufacturer.

Packaging Broken, there was no outer carton

The waffle maker arrived in a severely damage box, with one side completely open. No outer carton. The instructions fell out of the box in transit. We were still able to use the unit, so I did not return it. The waffle maker works "OK" - but it does not produce really crispy waffles. Its lightweight and very cheaply made. The nice feature is that its easy to store, and the price is reasonable.

The product was not shipped in a shipping box with protection. It was damaged when it arrived. Very dissatisfied and disappointing. I would think a company such as Macy's would put thought and care in how they ship their products. Will not order on line again from Macy's!

I ordered this item for shipping and it arrived without any additional packaging. As a result, the box was heavily damaged, and opened. The item itself was also damaged. I am returning.

This review is for the shipping. Bought this product as a gift and it arrived broken. Must have been put into the box broken because the pieces that broke off were nowhere to be found in the box. Have used this product before and it makes great waffles.

Works!

Works well, be careful opening once waffles are cooked. The heat transfers to the handle and is HOT. I used tongs when opening. For the price I will keep.
