Hamilton Beach Duration Irone
My old iron finally died today after 20 years, so I went to the store and purchased a Hamilton Beach Duration Iron. I was working on a sewing project and it did a wonderful job! Glad I bought a Hamilton Beach!

Just exactly what I was looking for! I had an old GE that fell out of my kitchen closet and almost broke my foot. I am not really too excited about ironing, but this one will suit me perfectly. Thanks much! D

Heavy, duty fast heating iron
Used this heavy, duty iron for my clothing to a casual evening with friends. This has become a permanent appliance for daily use in my home. A particular feature I love is the blinking red light in the center that comes on when you plug the retractable chord to a power source. By pressing the center, power button again the blinking light is a steady red. Theres a round selector button you girate around for the material type of clothing you are ironing such as cotton and silk. The iron heats up rather quickly within seconds. Im amazed at the speed at which the plate warms up. Retractable chord is a good length and this feature allows you to store the iron without dangling the chord or having to tie it. Also, a plus is the steam feature with a large enough compartment to fill with water. The downside is the heaviness of the iron. You must be careful manuevering it to iron for use and pay attention it doesnt topple over. Use on a steady ironing board. Overall, the result is a great press for clothing.

Perfect iron
I used this iron for the first time a few weeks ago. I love how easy it is to use. It glides so nicely across my shirts and leaves them looking like they were professionally pressed. The self cleaning function is amazing. I have never had an iron that will self clean itself. Also, the iron does not leave burn marks as some other irons I have tried in the past did.

This iron is a great buy
I really like this iron and use it frequently for my quilting projects. The iron gets warm very fast and has reliable high and low temperature settings You can adjust the settings with the easy to use control knob, and it responds quickly. I like how the iron has a great shut off system, not too quick and not too slow. It also beeps if you leave it plugged it but not in use. The iron has great steam output, which provides excellent wrinkle removal. A nice long cord is handy and it’s also retractable. I could not be happier with this iron and would recommend to a friend.

Works great! Love the tech features!
This iron is great, I used it to iron and steam some linen/cotton pants and it did the job! I love the tech features as well, the big power button in the center is nice and lights up when you power it on. It also blinks when the iron is heating up. The steam on this iron is quite powerful as well. Would definitely recommend!
