Good but....
The gaps that allow it to be an easy reach lets out a lot of heat. We use this with our RV and typically try to use it outside because of the heat loss. Also, we inadvertently left it out one night and a raccoon tipped it over breaking the plastic handle on the front. Those are not parts you can just buy, you have to buy an entire new door or a whole new oven. Really dislike that about it.

4 slice HB toaster oven
Very disappointed in the quality of this toaster oven. My last one died, which we loved, so I bought a smaller version. Door is too heavy for the smaller toaster.
Excellent Toaster Oven
This is an excellent toaster oven! It’s the perfect size and does everything you could need in a toaster oven. It has a removable crumb tray for easy clean up. A wire rack and a cooking tray. It heats up quickly and does an excellent job cooking. I made two pizzas right away and both were perfect. I made a bagel and used the toast setting and though it looked a little dark, it was perfectly toasted. My teenager has used it to make bagel bites for a snack and it was easy for him to use. It also warms food up quickly, and I like that I don’t have to use my big oven wasting electricity and it taking so long to heat up. I love this toaster oven and wish I had one a long time ago.

Not a fan
Not a fan of the design. The front opening is decent but the trays can slide right out, yes when hot. They need a “catch” or something because they’re too loose in the tracks. The whole back side gets hot and of course that’s where the cord is……. Maybe should’ve had the cord on the side to prevent possible fire or damage

Great oven!
I absolutely love my Easy Reach Toaster Oven! You can use this oven to bake, broil, or toast your food. Food cooks quickly and comes out perfect everytime. I like that you can see your food through the glass door as it's cooking. Instructions are very clear. This oven is very easy to use and clean when done. I also really like that it doesn't take up very much counter space.

Great value
This toaster oven is great. It does not take up a lot of counter space, but the oven has a lot a room to toast or heat up or cook a meal for one or two people. Heats up fast. I use it every morning to cook my potato patties. They come out nice and crispy. I have also used it to cook frozen chicken, it does it a short period of time. I like this after working all day.

Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven Model #31334D
2025 0121 - I opened the box. The Toaster Oven was well-packaged, with styrofoam on the ends to prevent shifting during transport. Plastic bags protected the item also. The interior trays were in a separate package under the toaster oven, so there was a paper notice in the box to bring that to my attention. I hand washed the interior trays and racks, then I read the user manual. Since I’ve never owned a toaster oven, I decided to start with simple toast. I misread the directions and placed the bread on the tray. So, the bottom side did not get very brown. And next time I won’t set the timer for quite so long - the top was a little too brown for me. But this is all just normal learning. The toaster oven worked fine. It did get quite hot - especially the door. I was wondering if I needed a heat-proof mat underneath the oven. If I use this regularly, I will place the oven on a heat-safe mat, just to be sure that my countertop is protected. Next, I tried baking. I had frozen buffalo chicken dippers on hand, and these do require baking or air-frying, not microwaving. As with the “toast” function, the instructions say to rotate the timer past 10. This is confusing - I’m not sure why or what this accomplishes. But - I did so, and let the oven preheat for 5 minutes. I put 8 appetizers on the tray and set the oven for 17 minutes. The timer is a little hard to see - it’s the bottom dial, and the numbers are below the big knob. I waited while they cooked, and worried a bit about how hot the oven would get on my countertop in 17 minutes. I checked several times to make sure all was ok. The oven did get hot to the touch - especially the door and the back. I’m not sure I want to have a hot appliance on my countertop like this - I don’t have a lot of space, and would need to make sure there’s nothing close to my toaster oven while I’m using it. The timer went off, I let the appetizers sit for 2 minutes, per the cooking instructions. The food was crispy and hot through. The toaster oven did as good as a regular oven would. I can see why this would be a useful appliance - I don’t have to heat up my whole big oven to bake or reheat just a small amount of food. There’s no real time savings - food has to bake just as long. Broiling - just to test this, I placed a slice of Swiss cheese on a slice of bread. I moved the rack to the top position for broiling, I figured out how to set the temperature and the timer for broiling, and I watched through the door. (By the way - I love that there’s a clear door so I can view my food as it cooks!) The slice of cheese melted from the edges inward and got bubbly throughout. But it did not actually brown or crisp. (The edges of the bread got burnt where the cheese wasn’t covering it.) I may need to test the broil function with other foods before I can say if it works well or not. All in all, this might deserve a place on my counter. I’ll need to try it some more, then decide.
