the coffee is just not hot
The coffee maker just does not make a hot pot of coffee. it also implied that you could program it to make 1-4 cups. That just means you have to measure the water when you pour it in, and hope there was no residual in the reservoir.

Great, simple to use coffee maker! So easy to set up. Thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours. We love the front load for water. Makes it easy to fill for use.
Mothers little helper
The Hamilton Beach 12 cup coffee maker with carafe is a nice addition to anyone’s kitchen. The pre-programmable feature is a big help In the morning when you’re trying to get out the door in a hurry. I really like that you can keep the leftover coffee warm and the hideaway cord tucks everything away nice and neatly.

Definitely a Winner!
Not only is this coffee maker sharp-looking and modern in design, it's a pleasure to use. I LOVE the brew strength option (I like mine BOLD), and it's easy to program so that coffee is ready when I get up in the morning. The BEST feature is the thermal carafe. I can turn off the coffee maker, and the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours (while looking good at the same time! :-) No more coffee with that "burnt" flavor from being heated too long.

An attractive addition to the kitchen counter
This coffee maker is a stylish addition to my kitchen. It is easy to use and makes a good cup of coffee to start the day. It is nice to be able to pour the water without having to access the whole maker. The carafe keeps the coffee hot hours. Since the carafe is made of stainless steel, you don't have to worry about it breaking.

So pleasantly surprised!
First, I have to say that I have been using coffee pods for years. When I received the coffee maker, I thought, well I’ll give it a try. I tried it and I love it!! It is so simple to use that I didn’t need the directions, however I read them anyway. I have tried regular and decaf, both are so good. It does say in the directions to brew decaf set on bold. Tried it both ways, definitely set it on bold. I love the permanent filter, so easy to use and clean. The pot looks nice and stays hot for awhile. Setting the time couldn’t be simpler and programming delay start is so easy. I like the front fill so I don’t have to pull it out on the counter. Now, the important part, the coffee is so good. I use whatever coffee is on sale and they all come out great. I made a little coffee area on my counter and the Hamilton Beach coffeemaker looks great!

One of the best coffee makers I have ever owned!
This coffee maker is one of the best I’ve ever owned. Not only does it keep the coffee hot long after it’s off, but makes an excellent cup of coffee. I like the swing out coffee basket holder it makes filling the ground coffee easy and that it locks in place. The front fill water reservoir is genius and makes it easy to fill. The carafe has a lid that locks. It was a bit tricky at first to figure out but I have no problems with it now, it has a lot to do with where to place the lid to get it to lock. I love the way it looks and all the options it has, like having the coffee start timed to have coffee ready when I get up in the morning and making the coffee bold or regular. I absolutely love this coffee maker and couldn’t be happier.
