Poor quality, runs too hot.

I normally would say that Hampton Beach provides an affordable range of products that suit the purpures and work well. Sadly, this was not the case with the Panini Press. The press arrived as is, with no packaging. The box looked like it had been beaten to death - ripped, bumped and falling apart. The press itself was fine due to the inner polystyrene packaging. I was excited to try it, but it ran so hot it burnt the bread before it melted the cheese! It was super-hot and has no temperature control, so it just overcooks everything. I sent it straight back. Not worth the money at all.

Great sandwiches!

Maybe my new favorite kitchen appliance! This panini maker is awesome! Makes a perfect panini every time! It is very easy to use, and fairly easy to clean. I do wish the plates were removable for a little easier clean up. However the only con I can think of is there is no on/off switch. Its just plug in to turn on.

Fell short of expectations

I was excited to try this but it fell short of my expectations. It has no printed guide or instructions included, no on & off button. It doesn’t have anything to hold on to on the bottom when opening the lid; It’s too hot to use your fingers. I did like the “grill” marks on my sandwich & how quickly it heats up. I am happy on how compact it is to store away.

Perfect Panini Press

I received the Hamilton Beach Panini Press and couldn't wait to try it. It is a compact panini press with none of the useless bells and whistles..and it gets the job done perfectly. The plates fit 2 sandwiches and can be easily cleaned with a wet paper towel. The press fits perfectly standing up in my cabinet. Love it

Perfect Sandwiches with a Heat-Safety Tradeoff

It makes great toasted sandwiches and is very intuitive to use. While it is easy to clean and heats up very quickly, the top plate gets very hot during use making it challenging to safely press tall sandwiches without getting burned. Maybe including a hot glove as a safety measure would be a good idea.

My favorite all purpose appliance!!

I absolutely love this panini press! I've made so many sandwiches on this, is so convenient. It heats up super fast, and there are no confusing buttons or dials to mess with. I've even cooked meat on it, and it was perfection. It's kinda like the air fryer version of a stove lol, I would absolutely buy another.
