Defective electric power supply.

Found out that the deep fryer won’t power uo right on the day it was going to be used. What a mess!!!!! Have to find out another old appliance to use. So so disappointed for a purchase from Macys.

Safety cord sucks.

The magnetic break away safety cord is a joke. U just barely bump it and it falls off. So 3 times now im in the middle of frying a big dinner and the cord falls off. So by the time u see it has stopped heating the oil has cooled down and everything stops. So 3 ruined dinners cause had to sit n wait till it heats back up again. I'm going to cut a hole in the plastic and solder a real power cord on it.

Party Pleaser

I love my Hamilton Beach deep fryer. It was perfect for my grandson's birthday party. I was able to make french fries and serve them hot and fresh, right outside. It made the event perfect for the kids.

Deep Fryer

Silver, black handle easy vented lid, and handles on each side. I like the model with the preset temperature feature and the basket. However, I dislike because the unit on the outside be hot, do not touch, and getting the basket handle on when pulling food out to drain is somewhat hot too. Overall I like my deep fryer.
