Beautiful luggage. Had the Tweed originally, long ago. The Large Journey was very big and had to return it. They were out of the Medium Journey,. Ended up going with Manos Hybrid Luggage in Champagne. Hartmann is a classic for all time.

Got this for Christmas, took one trip and the handle is unraveling. Don’t live close to a repair center and if it’s falling apart this quick don’t know it’s worth the time/ energy/ effort/ and money since the cost is on me! To ship this back. Hartmann used to be known for quality and service but guess not anymore.

I bought this to replace a very heavy Tumi bag. Good looking and compact, but with way too many little pockets so it's hard to remember which one to look in when searching for something. If you actually used all of these little pockets you could never close the suitcase. Biggest negative is that the padded laptop sleeve is way too thick and takes up far too much room, so I cut it out. I wish it snapped on all sides so permanent removal was not necessary, but it can always be just slipped in if needed. It rolls nicely on 4 wheels and is relatively lightweight when you must lift or carry it by the handle (which is comfortable).

The luggage is beautiful and functional. I was not really impressed with the way it got dirty though. For some reason I thought there was some type of coating on the fabric so my suite case wouldn't turn black and look 10 years old the first time I used it. I'm disappointed.
