Metropolitan 2 Executive Backpack

I am concerned about where the backpack was made. It does not say. I had previously been able to count on Hartmann being made in the USA

I bought this and it's 2 years old now. It's fraying on the straps. Hubby loves it but it's not holding up well. His Tumi, which was stolen, lasted 6 years prior to being stolen. He likes the inside of the Hartman better then the Tumi but will be picking another brand because of the fraying

Whatever you do, don't buy this - no way to return or contact the company after the fact - phones don't work. Email doesn't work. This bag is very nice, but much larger that expected. Avoid at all costs - not because of quality, but no way to contact about a return.

Great Backback with plenty of room for EVERYTHING!

Great replacement for my 15 year old Hartmann briefcase (which is still in great shape). I like the sleeve for the laptop, which also has plenty of space for my ipad. This bag holds everything I need with room to spare and looks great with my Hartmann luggage.

After years of seeing my parents purchase beautiful Hartmann leather products we decided to gift my Dad a backpack—since his old one is getting pretty worn out. Much to our surprise the backpack arrived and although aesthetically pleasing was not made out of leather. We felt deceived by the pictures in the Hartmann website which depict a leather look backpack—much like the ones Hartmann has manufactured for years. So I guess we are out of luck now, right? I’d be curious if anyone will read this and much less respond.

The most well made backpack I’ve ever owned. Able to stand up just as pictured. Lots of ways to organize inside it.
