Best Luggage Owned

Lived in Europe, Asia, and traveled throughout the US. My father swore by these bags as the best quality and I wish that I had bought one sooner. Excellent finish, very smooth wheels, best-pocketed.

Not as advertised

The Hartmann website described the bag as having a genuine leather top carry handle. It is not, it is some kind of plastic. I'm disappointed that Hartmann has let the quality slip so much and is misleading its customers. The attached photo shows the handle is some kind of vinyl or plastic. The bag will be returned

4 wheels are better than 2

I have enjoyed this suitcase in an earlier version without the 4-wheels. This one rolls easier.

Poor construction

Handle not durable at all. Chipped and cracked after one use!
