Hickory Point Pier Mount Light

Love the look of all the Hickory Point fixtures. I especially like that there are various different mounting styles and I have used them all on my property. for example, a ceiling mount over the covered garage doors, a wall mount at the front door, and a pole mounted fixture at the street. Their arts and crafts style really adds a lot of curb appeal to our property.

Bronze Finish did not hold up. It Rusted out after a couple of years. It will be very expensive to have it sanded and repainted.??

Strong 5 other than inserting the glass.

I ordered two of these lights to replace the ones on top of my brick columns at the entrance to our home. The lights arrived, and they took down the old lights and installed new ones. The instructions were vague, and I struggled to figure out how to insert the glass into the fixture. Not sure if I did this correctly, but the only way I found to insert the glass was to remove the bottom of the fixture and slide the glass in. We love these lights and would recommend purchasing them. It was a very nice upgrade to replace our 20-year-old lights.

Poor instructions

Very nice looking. Instructions need to be better. We have the glass panels in, the bulb in, and we can't figure out how the top can be re-attached firmly. We put the top on and the bolt goes through the crossbar - but how can you then thread the nut onto the bolt? You'd have to remove a glass panel, which we haven't been able to do once the crossbar is in place. Can someone provide instructions?

The light was just installed, so I'm not sure how it will hold up to our winter weather (will find out soon), but seems well made. I'm not positive how to change the light bulb. I think from the top, but there were no instructions on how that should happen. I did not install this myself, but my contractor said that the top should unscrew to allow the light bulb to be changed.

Glass rattles a lot anytime there is wind.

Love these lights. The style is beautiful. I bought several types in this same style. The only drawback is that the glass fits loosely and rattles when there is any wind which is annoying but none have cracked yet
