High Sierra had the adventurer in mind when designing this collection of hydration backpacks for on-the-go hydration. The HydraHike 2.0 4L Hydration Water Backpack can hold up to 4 liters of content and includes a 2-liter reservoir bladder. Use the top zipper to easily access the reservoir and main compartment to store other items like a jacket or sandwich in this backpack. For smaller items like keys, phones, or wallets this hydration pack features a front zippered pocket with an organizer built-in. Secure this backpack during high activity with the adjustable waist belt. To fill your 2-liter bladder, easily remove the BPA-free reservoir from the main compartment, fill, and replace it. Bite down to take a drink, activating the on-off bite valve switch. Rest assured your water will not leak from the mouthpiece unless you are biting down on the valve.

No replacement parts

I am very disappointed to hear that you don't carry replacement parts for your own product. It is hard to believe that a company that takes obvious pride in making good quality backpacks and luggage can't back up their product with a small replacement part. If you can't supply your own parts, who else will? Now I have a useless but good quality hydration pack. When I replace it, for sure I will not be choosing HIgh Sierra. What a shame.

Water does not flow when product worn as intended

Horrible product. Water will only flow when bladder is above the hose. When you were wearing this as intended, as a backpack, this is obviously not possible. Returning immediately.

Directions would be nice for us beginners

I have never used a hydration pack, so I couldn't figure out how to make the mouthpiece work. I called customer service and they were very nice and said I just needed to slide the little gray tab down and that would work. Well silly me, they meant down as if I were wearing the pack. And try as I might I could not push the thing down, because I had it on my lap and in that case, down was up. This just needs a simple diagram on one of the tags showing the tab in the closed and opened position, with an action arrow pointing in the direction to push. Easy for me to say, probably won't ever appear. Rating is based on first impression compared to others I have looked at.
