Starts great; Doesn't last long
We purchased this model HPM-27AJ-NV heating pad in August 2022. We were initially pleased and impressed with the combo of heat and massage it offered. But over time, we started to notice that the heat stopped working after about 15 minutes no matter which heat level we chose. To get the heat to function again, requires that we unplug the pad to reset it, then plug it in again. On the control module, the words "2-Hour Auto-Off seem to indicate that if we don't turn it off, it will do so automatically after 2 hours. Why is the one we own not providing heat for that duration?

Not happy yet
when received turned on, worked for maybe 5 minutes, went off couldn't get it to work again. Sent it back for an exchange and hopefully the next one will work, was disappointed in the size though. Was hoping it was bigger. The pictures made it look bigger.

Bulky and totally obnoxious
Bulky and super uncomfortable. I had shoulder surgery and wanted something that would wrap around my shoulder but everything about it was bulky and awkward. Every time I’d try to find a comfortable position I ended up frustrated and annoyed because I could never find a comfortable position with it. Only useful if you were putting it on top. Vibrating mechanism inside is two bulky boxes. I’d move on and find something more comfortable.

Only Fair
I thought that this would work for me. I did not realize that I had to lie on my stomach to use this properly. I cannot lie on my stomach due to back problems. It does not work very well placing it on the back of a chair, or lying on top of it.
Good for laying ON TOP of your body, not under it
I mostly like this heating pad. It is warm enough on the lowest setting, and the massage is very nice. The humidity works naturally and is also nice. The only drawback is that when I was buying this, I could not read the details of the use of this pad. I was hoping that I could lay on top of it to sooth my back since I had major back surgery. But the paper directions inside the package specifically say that you CANNOT lie on top of or lean against this pad. So you can only lay it on top of your body parts. I cannot lie down on my stomach, so I only use this for my hip and shoulder pain, which is a good thing, but not what I initially purchased it for.
