Water tank Crack? Otherwise freat
I bought the power scrubber a little over a year ago and it works well. I was potty training a puppy and it was a life saver. I now use it every couple of weeks and have recently been having a problem with the wash/rinse tank for clean water and solution. I can't get an a truly clean rinse because the soap seems to be going into the clean water side. Or the switch doesn't close completely? Either way, I'm pretty sure its the tank and I've seen other people have issues with the tank as well. Thats the one thing that seems to need an improvement.

Better than a truck-mounted steam cleaner company
We had a Hoover title and carpet cleaner for 20 years. It worked great! All floors came out very clean. It died and was too old to be repaired. We had a truck-mounted steam cleaner do our 2 carpets. Shortly afterwards, we bought the Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner. There was a trail on one of the carpets where we walked in our bare feet that was still there after the truck-mounted steam cleaner. The Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner not only cleaned the trail up, it pulled out so much dirt from the rest of the carpet, you would never have thought it had been recently cleaned. I used it on my title floor after using my Bessel Crosswave. The water was dark brown it scrubbed so much dirt out of the title. The floor is Clean now!! I love this machine!!!!

Poor quality
I bought the Hoover FH68010 about 2 years ago & have used it 4 times for routine cleaning in livingroom. The 5th time, it wouldn't distribute water and machine makes a whining noise for 5-10 seconds after I shut it off. The upholstery tool works but not the carpet cleaner. This is the 4th Hoover carpet cleaner I've owned in my lifetime and I am very disappointed with the quality and durability of this one. I think it's time for a change.

Faulty trigger on hose attachment.
Bought this a couple of years ago. When cleaning rugs in u pright position it works well. When I attach the hose to clean steps the trigger won't shut off. Continues to spray water and solution when I release the trigger. I have tried everything I know to unstick the trigger.

I’m so impressed! Easy to use and clean carpet so well. Can I use it on hard wood floors if I purchase the squeegee?

the new one has improved a lot
I got this new one to replace the previous one by Hooever from 20 years ago. I am very happy that the new one has improved a lot: easier to use, weighs less and costs less. The materials used for the older one seems sturdier. I hope this new one lasts as long. Thank you!

Don’t buy this product
We used it once and now it is not working. We didn’t save the receipt so we are out of luck.

It doesn't last
I've had this carpet cleaner for a few years now. It sounds like the motor totally burned up. It's extremely loud now, and won't do anything. No water comes out, no suction. It worked great for the first 2-3 years I had it. I tried cleaning it as best I could, but it still won't work. I would not buy Hoover again. I'm really disappointed, considering I loved it so much in the beginning, that my sister bought the same one.
