Can’t live without my Hoover Floormate
I’m not reviewing this newer model. But I’m here to tell you that I cannot live without my original Hoover Floormate!!!! I almost cried after 5 years the plastic piece on the bottom broke off and I thought it was done for!!! I just used it on my kitchen floor to see if it still worked okay, and sure enough, my little beast still works like a charm. I have to pull and push a bit harder since there are no rollers directly in the middle underneath, but who cares!!! I am beyond thrilled with the Hoover Floormate and love the fact that it has rotating brushes on the bottom!! Other floor cleaners only have pads or rollers, but doesn’t clean as well as the rotating brushes!! I would 100%, no doubt whatsoever, buy another Hoover Floormate when/if this one conks out on me for good. Which I hope and pray it never does!!! Hoover people, keep up the great work and please don’t ever switch to cloth or pads on these!! They don’t work as well as the brushes!!! Sincerely, A diehard Hoover fan!!!

Don't bother
Prior model was one of my favorites... this model is marginal at best. 1st - the cord is 5 feet short 2nd - the water "shoots" out the sides unlike the prior model 3rd - the side handles on the tanks stick out and prevent running along walls and cabinets for cleaning. 4th - the width of the cleaning bar is shorter (takes longer). 5th - the clips on the waste tank are annoying and not necessary... makes it harder to empty. I wish i would have had the older version repaired before tossing it and buying this one.

LVP floor with grooves
I was really hoping this would clean the grooves within the LVP floors we have, but it didn't. Unfortunately, it's not that much better than a mop, although its nice to not have to rinse.

I like it!
Does a very good job. Only drawback is the location and type of on/off switch. Easy to empty dirty water and easy to fill the clean water side. Foot release is easy to use and works well. It even sucks up the liquid that collects in the grout lines of my tiled floors. Also easy to switch from 'dry' to 'wash' and back.

Avoid at all costs
Piece of garbage. I am continually angry that I bought this. I am finally throwing it out. It leaks all over the place, and the brushes are too weak and short so there is no scrubbing in grout lines. Junk

Best hard floor cleaner we've found
Nothing better than this hard floor cleaner. You may think your floors are clean until you see the dirty water tank when you are done. Unbelievable what this cleaner gets off your floors. A little loud (wear ear protection) but it's a great tool.

On/off button doesnt work!!
love my floor mate when it is on but......on/off button only works sometimes. This is my 3rd floormate and had the same problem with all 3 of them. No way to fix it!!!!
