Changed motor to 10amp instead of 12
Just unboxed and figured out they have switched this model from 12amp to 10amp mid production. Not cool. I bought this particular model solely based off amperage because my 10 year old model (exact same) is/was 12 amp and lasted 10 years so figured I’d stay the same.

its ok
Has good suction, hose is long (though not the 16 foot advertised), not too bad to empty canister but not as easy old version. Switch is in really bad location and is too small. Canister is a bit small. Nice that the wand s extendable but everything feels a bit flimsy.

Not as good as described..
I bought 3 years ago, doesn’t pick up very good, difficult putting the hose on right keeps falling off. Stopped working thought it had died so I waited a month to try it, I was gonna get rid of it. But it started back working.

Hoover Whole House
Bought as a gift. They are very satisfied with how it works. Got maybe three times more dirt out of the carpet than their old vacuum did. Have two labs.

Don't Purchase for long term
I loved it first. It replaced a different Hoover vacuum that was very, very old. Now in my 2nd year, it turns off after 3-5 minutes and the motor feels very hot. So disappointed. I have the original box but can't find my receipt.

Not for HARD FLOORS
not for hard floors (bristles just lower @ NO REAL SUCTION = broom/pan would be better) ____ carpet use I only recommend — medium pile — carpets (too low = no suction, rollers creates drag = motor overheating) and (too high = suction is Ok but only paired with brushes) ____ ***lasted longer than expected*** over 2 years (these bagless vacuums are poorly designed and too brittle) ____ I don't suggest the use of hose and attachments (completely useless due = no suction due to overall "design" @ less than half of MAIN bucket) ___ bagged vacuums are 2x better but harder to obtain (must buy from catalog "business" supply stores for heavy-duty versions = lasts over 20 years for normal use)

Not impressed
The spin brush on my brand new unit does not turn off and never has. The unit is very loud and does not maneuver very well. It does suck though both literally and figuratively!
