Buyer Beware! Not like they used to be!
I have been buying Macy's Hotel collection for years but now for about the past 2 years I have found they are TERRIBLE!. They feel really soft when you open the package but after one washing, whatever is making them smooth is gone and they are like sandpaper. Multiple washings do not soften them. The last ones I bought that were nice are dated 2017 inside the sheets. They used to be Egyptian cotton but are no longer. Don't waste your money on them. PLUS Macy's return policy is not longer like it was. I bought a set and one piece had to be shipped so I received them on different days. Since I switch different sheets each time I change them, they don't get used continuously. I went to return the set after trying to like them. Well one sheet I had 90 days (they count from the day it leaves the warehouse, not when you receive it) and one sheet 91 days (bought in store). They refused to let me return the one that was 91 days. That is ridiculous.

Not the old Hotel Collection Softness
I have used Macy's Hotel Collection Sheet for years. These are NOT the same. These are not soft. They are very thick, therefore taking hours to dry in the drier. I am returning them.

Hotel Collection 680 T.C. Sheets & Pillow Cases
I forgot to add in my earlier review that although Macy's has changed to the Supima cotton 680 Thread Count sheets from the Egyptian 600 Thread Count sheets that even though the Pima cotton isn't nearly as soft and comfortable as the Egyptian 600 Thread Count sheets, the Supima cotton sheets are just as pricey. The price was justified with the Egyptian cotton sheets but not with the Supima cotton. The Supima cotton just doesn't rise to the same standard as the Egyptian cotton sheets. Please bring back the Egyptian cotton sheets!!!!

Beautiful Sheets
These are beautiful sheets. Probably the nicest I have ever had, and I invest in good sheets. I already had the duvet cover and it's held up perfectly, looks beautiful still. Sheet set has a slight "sheen" look and feel which is actually beautiful and soft and smooth and surprisingly not thin, a little thicker sheet, in an elegant, high quality, way. Really much nicer than all of the 5* hotels I've stayed in. You can never go wrong with Macy's Hotel collection items. I feel the Supima cotton is the best since the tried and true Egyptian cotton does not seem to have across the board standards. I researched and found that to be named "Supima" it has to have certain characteristics. The individual pieces are sold separately, not in a set. The pillowcase does come with two. I'm writing this review primarily because I actually purchased mine. I'm afraid that I see a lot of reviews here where the product was given out free.

LOVE IT
I purchased the duvet and the fabric is very soft yet durable. Looks exactly like the picture. Very pleased with this purchase.
