Cute but made weird

I had high hopes for this sandal- also bought the gold ones but neither of them fit right. I bought the size 6 first and the looked too small-toe hanging off the side. So I bought the 6 1/2 and my toe was still hanging off the side. I buy a lot of shoes and never had this issue. I think the shoe is made weird.
