The Ink + Ivy Rocket Lounge chair was well packaged and easy to put together. Everything I needed came in the box and all the holes lined up as they should. I love that they even included end caps to cover the holes to finish the look of the chair, great thinking in design! The fabric of the chair is described as orange, but in reality is a mix of red and gold threads that make it look super cool and interesting. My husband immediately claimed this chair for his office. The design is sleek and low profile, and the cushioning on the seat and back is super comfortable. The wooden legs feel sturdy and well built, and this chair feels like it will last a long time. We love it!

2 years agoEasy to assemble durable chair, with drawbacks for shorter people.
After receiving and assembling the chair sent to me, here's my detailed review: Assembly was straightforward and manageable with two people, although it can be done solo with some effort. No additional tools were required beyond a hammer or rubber mallet for finishing touches. The cushion is firm and springy, providing good support, and I appreciate the neatly concealed springs on the bottom panel. The wood finish is aesthetically pleasing, and the fabric appears durable with a tight knit. However, there are a few aspects that didn’t quite meet my expectations. Firstly, the color and pattern of the chair are not to my taste, which was disappointing. Additionally, the wood covers for the screw holes don’t match the frame color, which affects the overall look. In terms of comfort, the chair’s height and angle aren’t ideal for me—I'm 5'4" and find that my feet often don’t touch the ground comfortably, and my elbows don’t reach the armrests comfortably either. Despite the images, the sitting position is actually quite upright. The seat is very firm but comfortable- I like that. Overall, while the chair has some nice features like easy assembly and good build quality, the pattern/color and comfort issues are issues for me. A taller person with longer arms and legs would likely not have the same issues.

This mid-century modern chair is extremely comfortable. It is very easy to put together. The wooden legs are solid and a great finish. The chair has a nice slope to it.

Beautiful and Comfortable
Got this chair in the deep orange color. It is really nice. The wood color and finish is lovely. It is wider than I expected and takes up a bit more room than anticipated, but I'm keeping it. Quite comfortable and is a wonderful piece in the bedroom. My husband had a slight issue with making it level, but we put a couple of floor savers on the bottom of 2 of the legs and that mitigated the unevenness.
