Great chop
Bought for our daughter who loves to cook. She opened it and proceeded to chop and prepare our dinner. She loves this knife and her dinner was delicious. A win win for all of us.

Sharp and Sturdy
The knife is very sharp, slight heavy and sturdy. The handle is decent and feels great in the hand. This forged knife will be used primarily in the kitchen.

Replacing ALL my older knives
I purchased TWO Cleavers. It is a replacement for one that is 30 years old. I've been able to chop meats & vegetables with ease. A HENCKEL blade remain sharp for a long time. I've purchased numerous knives to complete my collection. Carving fork, (boning 5.5 & carving 8" ) knife, Knife set 4, Knife set 5. I am very happy with my purchase.
