Sad gift
I just wanted a Bluetooth speaker but my sweet child bought me this JBL Google home abomination. It's a huge pain to set the thing up but once it's in place it was able to stream my music... As long as you're on the same Wi-Fi. Then after about a year and a half it just quit working. The sound was never that good anyway. Do not recommend.

Junk!
Won't turn on. When it does, battery is low already. Takes forever to connect. Can't connect to Bluetooth before you connect to your Wi-Fi network via Google Home app which itself already sucks! Too much junk, too many issues and too much trouble for a speaker built in 2021 and barely used for literally a couple of months. It's ridiculous!

Came out of the box broken
Buttons do not work. The only way to turn it on is by plugging it in. Once on, it doesn't turn off, mute, or anything else for that matter.

Stopped Working
I received this speaker as a gift. Lasted a little over a year before it stoped working/charging. And it wasn’t even used that frequently throughout the year. Read other reviews for this exact speaker and it appears it’s a recurring problem. The charging ports must be defective given it just doesn’t charge. Way too expensive for it to not even last. I expected more from JBL. I guess my expectations were too high.

Stopped Working
This speaker just stopped working. It was gently used to listen to music and new in the house. It never left the counter spot in a year. Didn't take it outside. And it just quit. The battery won't charge and plugged in it won't work. Terrible, awful, waste of money. Do Not Buy!!!

This thing can’t even stay connected to my wifi for longer than a minute?! Wow! Consistently dropping the WiFi 24/7...who even makes a speaker that has to be connected to WiFi to work?! STUPID! Such a dumb a idea n concept. Go back to the original.

Good but lasted a little over a year.
I have had this for a year AND i was in love with it, Now it bearly works and i cant figure out why.
