I bought this a month ago and barely used it and it does not work well the speaker pops and the audio scratches.

Thanks for your feedback. If the issue is affected as the volume changes. Please know that source devices (phones, tablets, etc.) all behave a bit differently. Some have very loud outputs, and some can be quite a bit lower, even at maximum volumes. The same goes for individual songs; some are louder than others. It is possible that the output level of your source device or song causes the unit to reach maximum undistorted volume before actually reaching 100% on the volume control. So, if the issue only occurs when the volume is getting near maximum, this would confirm that the issue is the result of an extremely loud source device or song recording. On the other hand, if you are using an Equalizer (EQ) to boost frequencies, this has the same effect as increasing the volume. Try turning the EQ off. If the sound no longer distorts with the EQ off, the speaker is not damaged, and the EQ settings need to be adjusted to prevent distortion and eventual damage. Next, try to connect a different device to the speaker to determine if the problem is with the device or the speaker. Last is reset, turn on the speaker, then press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than 10 seconds. The speaker will turn off and reboot to factory default. You may need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If the issue remains, please contact us for further assistance.

Good speaker

I got this speaker about a year ago In November as a birthday gift. THIS THING IS GOOD! Yeah I bet there are better speakers in the party box line up but if your looking for a decent priced party speaker for small get togethers its perfect, and the portability or this speaker is imaculate, yeah there the encore for a good portable speaker, but if you want a bigger bump this is the go to. Not a bot, just a PARTYBOX OTG glazer. Don't beat it till you try it especially after the sub breaks in

The greatest gift ever

I bought this speaker as a gift for my fiance and it has her dancing all around the house nonstop everyday sense the day she cut it on she loves the lights for her workouts or nights in the tub to listen to her slow jams she also invites her girlfriends and sisters over every week for karaoke the quality of the mic and sound that the speaker puts it is phenomenal i already have the flip 345&6 It's 2 of each and I'm able to connect them all at once and play it all around the house or just for a small house party they sound like an untie sound system (JBL) HANDS DOWN THE BEST SOUND

Our JBL PartyBox On-The-Go has True Wireless Stereo (TWS) feature that allows the speaker to connect to the same model or with our JBL PartyBox On-The-Go Essential and JBL Partybox 100. Our JBL PartyBox On-The-Go also has up to 6 hours of battery life. This may vary depending on volume and music content. We recommend charging your speaker to 100% and play music at low to mid-volume levels and without bass boost. If the speaker lasts close to the advertised playtime hours, the battery is working fine.
