Peony Soap

Buyer Beware! False Advertisement!

I purchased 7 of these items as Mother’s Day gifts and what was delivered was one box of single soaps all thrown in a brown Macy’s box with no stuffing to secure it from being bounced around thus allowing soap breakage and worn out paper that covered the soap. I expected what was advertised on the Macy’s website, it looked elegant with each soap carefully packed in a beautiful Jo Malone gift box with ribbon. When I phoned Customer Service they assured me that the problem would be rectified and they would send out a replacements immediately. When I received the replacements, it was the same issue…all the soaps thrown in a Macy’s box with no stuffing to protect the soaps and it actually looked worse than the first box I received. Macy’s used to be such a lovely store to shop, unfortunately with their false advertising and broken promises, I will no longer shop there as no one reached out to me to rectify the problem. I guess the lesson is that Macy’s is a total sham with no integrity.
