XC4 - taupe tumbled nubuck

Lightweight, stylish, and supportive. Very well made - this is my fifth pair in the XC4 line. The break‑in period was basically nonexistent, and the comfort level is impressive. The material is durable, and the soles have great grip. Love that this line is waterproof!

Squeaky Shoes

I wore the shoes for the first time yesterday. Both shoes make a squeaking sound when I flex my ankle upwards. It is most noticeable when I walking on up or down stairs.

Walking on air

I walk my dog every morning that it makes sense. I try not to take chances. My Johnston & Murphy water proof are perfect as I head to campus. I feel a spring in my 79 year old feet. I know I only get one pair of feet. It is a must to care for them. They also look great, but at my age, that is no longer relevant. Can walk comfortably again!

After years of buying multiple pairs of shoes and being disappointed every time, I finally have a great, comfortable pair of shoes. My only problem is what do I do with 15 pairs on shoes I won’t wear?
