You could buy a cheaper Stand Mixer but why?

I had my old KitchenAid Mixer for 20 years and passed it on to my daughter when she went to college. When I needed a new one, I waited for the Macy's sale and then bought the same one. It lasts forever. It has a strong motor and is sturdy- cannot be knocked over. Makes 100 dozen cookies in a day, easily.

Overheats

This product overheats and has a burning smell when doing something as simple as making icing. Gets so hot you can't touch it and apparently this is normal. Would not recommend this product.
