Beware of rust

I love the mixer but the bowl and accessories are rusting. I have a smaller kitchen so I purchased the mini mixer. The mixer works well, but any exposed metal is starting to rust. My stainless steel bowl is extremely worn. I do live in a humid climate, but my home is not humid. friends that have the standard mixer have not had this problem. My fear is what the motor looks like and if that is rusting too. For an expensive mixer, this should not happen.

Cute and Functional

I love this thing! I traded a Bosch for this mini after my kids grew up and moved away; I no longer need to bake 6 loaves at a time. Also, we downsized to a tiny house; my kitchen is 4x8. I use this adorable mixer to make a 1-loaf batch of freshly milled, whole-wheat bread dough for pizza, mini loaves, breadsticks, and cinnamon rolls. Delicious!

Great for a down-sized kitchen

As an empty nester, recommend the mini. Capacity, and power to knead bread were key for me. This mini size manages enough for me, up to two loaves at a time. The power is great for kneading bread reliably and easily. A quality product, and I am really pleased.

Makes my cooking more fun. At 74 a true Blessing !

This was a gift from a Whirlpool employee who came down here to Tenn. to help rebuild my home after the flooding took all I had. This person offered to send me a new mixer once he returned to Greenville. I love this mixer. I have always wanted to own one. I absolutely love it. The color matches my new kitchen design and making cookies is much more easier and fun to do. Can't wait to try other things that can be done with it.

metal gears DC Motor quiet👍

I just bought this recently just getting into cooking And baking the mini is perfect size for a small kitchen And is very strong and and enough to cook for four people 👍The price was not too bad compared to other mixers that have plastic gears and the motor is very quiet , I hear they last for teens of years under heavy use

Quiet and easy to use

Purchased a month ago and it is so easy to use. Gone are the days of flour spluttering and poofing out of the bowl using a hand mixer. Very quiet, not heavy, easy to clean and so easy to switch attachments out. The only thing I wish I would have known is how far down the dough hook goes. I probably would have purchased the larger quart size if I had realized this. Luckily I don’t make a lot of bread that needs a mixer so it’ll be fine.or I’ll just cut recipes in half for my small family.

Mini Mixer

I love this mixer. It is the perfect size for my personal use. The only issue I have is, I can't seem to locate the pieces that are listed in the instructions as being available. I have searched on the KitchenAid site and any other sites I find with no success. I have almost given up. Since this mixer is not the standard size it is hard to get certain pieces like the ingredient spout or splash guard lid. All the standard addon parts will work for external functions with the attachment feature. Despite my dilemma I love the mixer. Maybe they will create a cover soon.
