Ridiculously wide and large!!!

If I were Goliath or a Sumo wrestler, these mini mitts might fit. The mitts are ridiculously large. Kitchenaid, if you were to cut the sizing and width in half, you could use half the fabric. Just think of how happy you would make your female customers with small hands. Thank you.

The size is too small. They don't protect the wrists. I've gotten burned.

Get control of hot stuff! End kitchen road kill.

I have big glove type oven mittens but they are too big for getting a hot dish out of my microwave. So I bought these mits and heated some burritos in a round salad or pasta dish. To get the dish I would normally get a bamboo cutting board (smallish) and slide the dish onto it using some improvised protection like a wad of paper towels or a kitchen towel. Why? Because you need to get a firm grip on the side of the dish to keep it in control (yes with oven mittens I once shot the bowl over the bamboo cutting board like a navy jet at take off). Pushing without control means burns or the kitchen version of road kill. These mittens allowed me to feel the fish edge, kept my fingers cool and allowed me to pick the fish up and carry it without danger. Oh, and I like the color. Like them better than silicone because the mits protect you from steam on your upper hand and wrist.
