Broken attachment
We bought the attachment only used it twice and it broke. Unfortunately it was past the time to return because it’s not an everyday appliance. Really disappointed!

It cracked!
I bought mine in Dec. 2023, and have made maybe 6-8 batches of ice cream in it. It's great. Easy to use, easy to clean. BUT - it cracked! I took it out of my freezer to make ice cream for Thanksgiving, and once it started up I noticed a leak. Luckily, I was able to get my ice cream made, but I had to keep a towel under it to catch all the leakage, and now it's useless. I live alone - so no kids or anyone but me has ever handled this item. I've never dropped it, I only ever handwash it, and my freezer is normal - not a deep freeze. And, like I said, I haven't even used it that much. So I'm really disappointed that it cracked. Especially since I need to make some homemade ice cream for a dinner I'm hosting in a month!

Works great but cracked after a few months
Bought in June 2025. I use it at least once or twice per month. Works great. I just got home from vacation and picked it up and it started leaking everywhere. The bottom is cracked. It hasn’t been dropped and I only wash by hand. I’m not sure why it would be cracked. I guess I’m about to find out how good Kitchenaid’s warranty is.

Heavy duty!
This mixer makes it so much easier to combine ingredients even/especially on very stout dough.
