I want to love it

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got this gorgeous machine for my birthday, however I am disappointed that I had to return my first one because it wouldn't stay locked. I find that it shakes too much while doing a bread dough. My recipe is for 1 loaf so not too big.

Excellent product so far

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We loved it in our family. It made our lives so much easier. As someone who eats roti everyday, it's very useful appliance that will make your dough without you kneading & using your muscles

Sticking with Hobart KA

Need to Make them Like they Use to be

I bought this thinking my old Hobart KA mixer could not be fixed. Thankfully, I found a place to properly service it. In the mean time I have this new Artisan 5 qt. It could use more grease to help absorb heat, a spring above the attachment, and I guess it isn't designed to handle much like the old ones... like gingerbread. Do your research of what modifications are highly suggested if you purchase. If I don't sell it I will have to spend $ to make the proper modifications that KitchenAid should have done themselves just to make it last longer.

Defective Appliance, Awful Customer Service

I bought this stand mixer after we moved and the pandemic started. I use it maybe 10-15 times a year, so definitely less than 100 uses. Yesterday, while making a Small batch of hamburger buns, the head sheared off the base and flew onto the floor. Thankfully no one was hurt and it didn’t damage the floor. I started a chat, showing photos of the mixer and was then asked to call in, which I did. The agent informed me that the mixer is from 2013 (hard to believe since I bought it in 2019 or later) and the best they can do is offer a 30% discount on a new one from their website. Kitchenaid definitely does NOT stand by their products.

Bought the same one again after 25 years! Great mi

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought htis as a replacement for an identical Artisan mixer. It was 25 years old and started to fail. Getting it repaired would have been an expense and a large pain in the butt, so I bought a new one. Same colour, even. I liked it so much, used it a fair amount, have a couple of attachments — could not think of being without it. Works perfectly, as usual, as expected, as it should. The old one had a little spring on the shaft to which one attaches the beater or whisk; the new one does not. Is that a faulty machine? Seems to me the spring was necessary.
