Elegant and dominating, filled with a green color, this traditional retro area rug from KM Home has a regal quality inspired by the intricately conceived design possessed by many of the rugs in this collection.
I bought two of these rugs, one for my bedroom, and one for my living room. My new husband is allergic to wool, so I thought a synthetic rug would work. The color and pattern are nice, but they are thin rugs without much nap. The real disaster, though, is that they won't lay flat. They buckle, even when heavy furniture is placed on them. I googled the problem, and suggestions ranged from dampening the rug and weighting it with heavy objects, to using a steam iron (not too hot or you melt the rug). I mentioned the problem to a friend, and she told me that what I have are two cheap polypropylene rugs, and nothing is going to help the buckling. And she is right; nothing has. The rugs are not usable, and a complete waste of money. These are the first and last items I will ever buy from Macy's.
